This past May, Kyndra Collins earned the title of E CITY Young Entrepreneur of the Year and will compete in the NFTE 2016 Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge. Kyndra is CEO of Motion, selling all-natural body wash with 24-hour moisturizing capabilities.

Kyndra, a graduate of Lincoln West High School, is currently a student at University of Akron and continues to build her business despite being busy with college. She faces the ongoing challenge of juggling school with her business, as she now runs everything from her dorm room, marketing her products with flyers, emails, and word-of-mouth around campus. Kyndra credits E CITY and her entrepreneurial journey for making her stronger as a person and for teaching her important life skills.  "E CITY helped me in many ways. [The program] gave me startup money and a support system. When I didn't believe in myself, it pushed me forward. I wouldn't have gotten this far without E CITY," Kyndra recently shared.

Kyndra is looking forward to the NFTE competition in New York City this October, as it will be her first time to the city and a great opportunity to network and meet new people. She will compete with fellow E CITY alum and young entrepreneur Kaitlynn Boykin, CEO of Snoodle. Best of luck to both Kyndra and Kaitlynn this October!
